EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: TURN THE DIAL SESSIONS for BOSE + PORSCHE
I served as Executive Producer on this two-part short doc series commissioned by Bose and Porsche. We invited acclaimed artists, songwriters and producers to produce a song from scratch in one session, bringing awareness to the extraordinary gender imbalance in pop production: that only 2.8% of songs in the top 100 are produced by women.
Laufey — artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist — and Eunike Tanzil — composer and producer — met at Atomic Sound in Brooklyn, while Anne-Marie — singer and songwriter — Jenn Decilveo, award-winning producer, and songwriter — and Megan Lewis — producer and songwriter — met for the same challenge in London.
